Tasting notes: This Shiraz underwent co-fermentation with Viognier and was then aged in a combination of new and seasoned French oak barrels. Its appearance is strikingly opaque, displaying a profound black dark red color with a deep crimson hue. The nose is characterized by alluring aromas of dark plum, liquorice, and smoky cedar, followed by subtle hints of honeysuckle, dried apricot, and spice. On the palate, it reveals a medium to full body with a velvety texture, showcasing rich dark plum and liquorice flavors intertwined with nuances of dried apricot, smoky cedar, and spicy pepper. The wine is supported by robust yet seamlessly integrated tannins, imparting a solid structural backbone. It finishes with commendable length and freshness, leaving a medium to long-lasting aftertaste. This wine has the potential to gracefully cellar for 5-6 years.
