Andre Jacquart Champagne Blanc de Blancs Brut Experience NV

Tasting Note: Brut cuvée from this particular house is crafted from a blend of 60% Vertus and 40% Le Mesnil grapes. This bottling predominantly features the 2013 vintage, complemented by 40% reserve wines. Sixty percent of the blend undergoes barrel fermentation in ex-Burgundy barrels. With a dosage of 4 grams per liter, it was disgorged in March 2018. This sparkling wine exhibits a delightful fine bead resulting from extended lees contact. While there is no overt oak aroma, the nose reveals enticing scents of roasted nuts and intricate autolytic notes. Upon tasting, it offers a crisp, dry profile, accompanied by a luxuriously creamy mousse followed by refreshing grapefruit acidity. A delicate mineral thread and subtle oak dryness contribute to its complexity. Exhibiting an exquisite balance between freshness and intensity, this sparkling wine is an ideal choice for serving as an aperitif by the glass.
